As humans – thoughtful and caring –  we often filter what we share with others. We do this in order to keep the peace. It is easy to share what we believe others will agree with or what will make them happy. What we hesitate to share however, are those many thoughts and feelings that others may not agree with.

When controversial topics arise, many of us tend to keep our opinions to ourselves out of fear of offending others or being judged for how we feel.

My question is – What makes it acceptable for one group (or several) to express their opinions, but when others (who feel differently) do the same they are condemned?

Isn’t free speech everyone’s right?
